I've followed the Tigers closely since their 1968 World Championship (even worked as a Jr. Usher at Tiger Stadium 35 years ago). It's no surprise to me that their manager, Jim Leyland, has made winners out of them.
Even though I prefer to keep the series in the midwest, I expect the Mets to beat the Cards for the NL championship.
The NY Mets have a great team, but after the Tigers beat the almighty Yankees and swept the A's, they earned MY respect (all hometown lotyalties aside).
My prediction: Detroit in 6 games. _________________ Keep on rockin' in the free world |
