As a Medicaid patient, I've been grousing for years about the unequal access to medical care that is available to those on Medicaid. Many doctors (and dentists) simply refuse to accept people on Medicaid, and if they do accept us, they're very quick to point out that they're doing us an enormous favor to be treating us since they lose money on us and have to put up with the creaky Medicaid system that doesn't reimburse them enough--or soon enough.
Maybe the suggestion in this article will appeal to the medical community but I have my doubts.
