A couple of PWMS I know have gotten into trouble lately with wounds &/or infected injection sites that resisted healing. Here's an interesting article on a high-powered variety of honey that's being studied in Germany.
Honey has been a folk remedy for wound healing for a long time, but this article explains why it works. Interesting.

Medihoney sounds reasonable to me. In the wild, animals heal themselves with herbs. Dogs have a healing enzyme in their saliva. I see can believe honey can have healing properties.
Thanks for the article zenna.

PS I got a giggle out of the Woundpecker Data Bank. |
