The state of Florida may be offering a Christian license plate:

Is this the first time this has been tried? I could swear I've seen license plates with the Christian fish symbol on them... |

We dont have any religious plates here. I just checked.
We do have a "Tobacco Heritage" plate
LOL - sort of fits what I was telling you about our community on the other smoking thread.
I do know that soon, the NMSS in Raleigh NC will be offering Multiple Sclerosis plates soon. I had a chance to reserve one. I chose not to. It just weirds me out to have that on my car. (dont ask why - I havent a clue)
Its on our front page:

Maybe it weirds you out for the same reason I felt a bit odd about using a keychain card I received from the MS Society.
It's just a little card (a couple of inches) but it has the MS-with-a-streak-through-it emblem on one side, and on the other you fill in your name, address, etc.
Every time I use my keys, that card will be flashing out for all to see. It's as if I'm yelling out, "Hey, look at all of us poor folks with MS! Help us!"
A bit like being a beggar.
I was going to toss the card out, but decided to use it for the ID it would provide. So far, nobody has even noticed it as far as I know.
The license plate shown on the NMSS Website is full of distracting information, IMO, including the MS logo. The license numbers have to be much smaller than they used to be when a license plate had only the numbers and the state on it. But getting somebody's license number is often very important. _________________ MS diagnosed 1980.
