WELCOME!

Hi Waddle,
I'm glad you had the courage to post in spite of the ongoing debates here.
I don't know that anyone is really mad. Tempers sometimes do flare here, but these are human beings with feelings, after all. I can't pretend that they don't have feelings by deleting their angrier remarks.
You can just ignore the people who scare you. There are lots of people here who aren't angry.
I'm sure everyone here would like to know more about you, Waddle, and so when you're up to it, please let us know anything you'd like to share with us. |

Waddle,
Regardless of differing opinions on different topics and the emotions that come from that we all have one thing in common....multiple sclerosis.
If you don't want to get involoved in the controversy then don't.
Anyway, I hope I get to know you better. |

Welcome, Waddle!
We really are about a lot more than the current controversies. I hope you'll stick around and get to know us better.
Angry exchanges happen on every MS board I've been to; I think it's actually due in part to having MS. Cerebral lesions = volatile emotions at times.
Peace will prevail, sooner or later.

Hi Waddle,
I think you will find that things settle down here(as far as the arguments), once some unfinished business is resolved.
Unfortunately, sometimes grudges are carried around the MS internet community, and until two people can come to a peaceful resolution, they continue to clash no matter where they are.
A mutual understanding/respect is the goal, and I think it is acheivable.
In the meantime, as I think others have mentioned, it might be best to just avoid those threads. They can get pretty heated.
I hope you are able to share on those threads of interest. There's some great information here.

Hi again Waddle,
Tell us a little about you, will ya?
Do you have MS or does someone you know have it or are you just learning about it?
I've had it officially dx'd for almost 6 years now, but I've had it much longer that that. Probably since the mid-70's. Definately though since the late 80's. |
