Turk, who suffers from diabetes, depression, and blindness claims she has taught her 15-year-old cat Max to push a button that will dial 911 in the event she has a seizure. Though Turk has produced letters from doctors affirming that the cat provides emotional support, the condo association has expressed doubt that Max qualifies as a service animal.
