The Dogs of Babel by Carolyn Parkhurst
I started this book last night and I'm totally captivated.
Anyone else read it? Huh? Huh? |

No, but I was curious about the title and looked up some information about it on the Web.
It's not really about talking dogs--?
Does the man ever find out why his wife climbed up the apple tree and fell out? |

I started the book last night but yes, it is about talking dogs. In particular, a man teaching his dog to talk because she was the last one to see his wife alive. His grief needs some answers. Totally capitvating. I wasn't expecting this book to grab me but it has.
I'll let you know what I think when I'm finished. |

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a bit meladramatic here and there but I can forgive that.
