Thanks, Matt, I'm checking out these places.
I was playing Snoodoku in the demo version, which you can get at:
http://www.womgames.com/index.php
That's the Website for Snood, a very addictive game that I've been playing for several years now. Then they came out with Candy Crisis, which is good, too, in my opinion. Most recently they developed Snoodoku, which can be played with Snoods* instead of numbers, or just with numbers. I played with numbers, and a nifty feature was the way you could insert all possibilities in each square and then delete them as you ruled them out.
*If you don't know about Snoods, they're little shapes in different colors. In Snood you try to knock them out of their lineup by using an aimer. |

Sudoku also runs in my town's newspaper on a regular basis. I think it runs in quite a few US newspapers now--I don't know about Canada. |

Definitely in Canada too.
I like snoodoku. There seems to be no way to submit your answer, though. I guess there is no need for that really. |

You mean at the end of the game, after you've got all the squares filled in right?
Or do you mean your answer for each square? I don't have the Snoodoku demo any more (it expired), but I recall having to read the directions to figure out a couple of features. One of them was how to submit your final answer for a square, after you've tinkered with the various possible answers. |

Matt, I downloaded the demo again (didn't know that was possible but it was).
I'll check into your question. Meanwhile, if you can find where on your computer the Snoodoku files are stored (mine were put in "Program Files"), you'll see that one of the files is called Snoodoku Readme. That gives all of the instructions. |

OK, here you go. To enter your final answer--the number or Snood that you think works in that frame--hold down Shift or Alt and click on the number (or Snood) you've chosen.
That's the part I'd forgotten, but it's in the Readme file. |

They did a pretty good job designing it. I still can't do the "hard" ones though. |
