Today I learned that one of the founding members of this board has died.
Dave, known here as Mr. Soul or Mr. Natural, was a contributor to this board for quite a while. I'd lost track of him since he vanished from the board but I found his obituary (from over a year ago) here.
I didn't always agree with Dave, but he livened up this board for quite a while. Here is one of his posts (in a thread on gun control, November 20, 2006):
