This is despicable. I had no idea there were so many gypsies in Italy--or that they're being persecuted.
The article mentions the Camorra group--I recently saw a movie about them, Gomorrah, and their power is horrifying:

The movie is fiction and doesn't deal with the Gypsies but by all accounts it's an accurate representation of the way the Camorra works. |

Sounds interesting.
Yeah, it horrifies me too.
Our media just doesn't cover a lot of things that it should. People are only concerned about whether or not Berlusconi supports our presdents, not whether or not any one should support him. |
